Marina
Jachtwerf Atlantic offers a cosy marina in Harlingen with 40 berths on fresh water. Via the Verbindingskanaal, the Wadden Sea is within reach. The marina has, among other things, a canteen and its own lifting facility (30 tonnes).
Winter storage
Do you want to store your Atlantic sailing yacht safely for the winter? We offer winter storage outside as well as indoor storage. During the winter storage period you can let us carry out various (refit) activities on your yacht.
Shipyard
We set the same high standards for maintenance and refits as we do for building a new boat. Our employees work with great enthusiasm on the refurbishment of your yacht. They have only one goal in mind, and that is to ensure that the customer is once again extremely satisfied and can proudly start the new sailing season.

Plans to renew or renovate your yacht? Then a refit is the ideal way to bring your yacht back to a new condition. Refit can be carried out in various areas such as re-motorisation, a new hull colour, new sails or upholstery or even electrical work. Refit actually means modernising your yacht or adding value to your yacht.

About us
For many years we (brothers-in-law Wessel Veenstra & Fimme Baarda) have been at the helm of Jachtwerf Atlantic. In 2005 we took over the business from Leo van Oostenbrugge. We were already working together with Leo. Wessel was his technician in the company and Fimme and his wife Maaike did the yacht brokerage together with Leo.
We build aluminium sailing yachts with a variable draught by yacht architect Dick Zaal. Our customers are looking for yachts that enable them to explore a large sailing area. For example, they want to fall dry under Schiermonnikoog, explore the Irish southwest coast and then sail on to Iceland or the Azores. They are very special ships with a warm, comfortable interior. The deck layout is tailored to the touring sailor who likes performance, but wants to be able to operate the ship easily. Also on his own.
Our Atlantic sailing yachts are therefore pre-eminently THE departure boat for a trip around the Atlantic. These days, you see a whole group of sailors on the market who can plan a year off and then want to fulfil their dream of taking a ‘sabbatical’ and sailing around the world with their wife and children.
